Tiger+Lion=Tiglon?

Yes tiglons are real i have read about them and seen pictures of them they are animals that can't breed with the same of it's species and that is why most people do not know about them. But I do and want to know where i might be able to see one.or two.or more.

Tiger+Lion=Tiglon?
Well, you're wrong because the proper term is Tigon. There are also Ligers. The convention is for the male of the pair to be named first. So a Tigon is the offspring of a male tiger and a female lion, and vice versa for a Liger. I don't know why you think people don't know about these animals, maybe you should not be so pompous?

Shenzhen Safari Park in south China happens to have a lot of tigons for some reason. Hope that helps.
Reply:Actually, it's a tigon or a liger depending on which parent is the lion.
Reply:Ligers; I saw one at King Richards Fair in Carver, MA. Huge, beautiful animals.
Reply:What haven't been said above, is, because ligers and tigons (much rarer than ligers) are genetic products of two species they can't have offspring.(like mules and easels). That's why they're rare - you can't breed with them but have to wait for members of two distict species to find each other sexually attractive all over again and hope for the desired result...They don't occur in the wild, because lions and tigers do not occur on the same continents. (with the exception of a small population of lions on the Gir peninsula in India)
Reply:it's a tigon if the tiger is the dad and lion is mom.it's a liger if lion is dad and tiger is mom
Reply:Ligers and Tigons usually don't live long lives cause their really susceptible to cancer and other diseases.
Reply:Ha, isnt that one of the beasts in the game Farcry....
Reply:It's called a liger.

Reply:its a liger....obviously your wrong
Reply:Ligers! havent you watched Napolean Dynamite?
Reply:Yes but they have tigons, ligers and so on. it depends on how you breed them.

"Its a liger, It's pretty much my favorite animal. Bred for skills in magic" gooosshh
Reply:I have seen a liger first hand. A liger is the result of a male lion and a female tiger. They are much larger than either breed

Tigons are the result of a female lion and a male tiger. They are much smaller than either breed.
Reply:Male tiger X female lion=tigion

Male lion X female tiger=liger
Reply:its called a liger.
Reply:um...i think they are called ligers...
Reply:Liger = male lion female tiger

Tiglon=male tiger and female lion
Reply:its called either a tigon or a liger. ligers are huge (up to 900 lbs) and tigons have the same characteristics as liigers, but are smaler.

ligers are when the father is a tiger and the mother is a lion

and tigons are the other way around
Reply:no they r called either liger or tigon.
Reply:I think you mean a Liger

Oh, Ligers are bred for their skills in magic.
Reply:They are called ligers,not tiglons.
Reply:Isn't it the same as a Liger?
Reply:Sorry but I believe that they are called ligers not tiglons...
Reply:Its called a Liger. Google it.
Reply:Yes tigions are real and so are Ligers there both real but i dont know were you can see them thoes other people are lieing there are such things a tigions i saw a show about it
Reply:no it's liger... i just saw a week back in animal planet who breeds lions and tigers ... why don't u try to look anilmalplanet site for more information
