EXOTIC PETS: do you know of anyone who has a "Wolverine" for a pet?

I was watching a TV program the other night - Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, History(don't remember exactly which) - and this Naturalist(?) had a couple of "Tasmaninn Devils" as pets: he thought they were adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard of or seen videos of people who have had tigers, lions, alligators or what have you, as pets; but now, "Tasmanian Devils"???

But I've never heard of anyone having a "Wolverine" as a pet. Have you?

EXOTIC PETS: do you know of anyone who has a "Wolverine" for a pet?
The University of Michigan used to keep a real wolverine or two as a live mascot. It proved to be too ferocious.

That's the only instance I've ever heard of. Wolverines are really ferocious.
Reply:with my luck the wolverine owner would move in next door to me. Report It

Reply:I think the naturalist you are speaking of was actually fostering a couple of baby/adolescent devils, not actually keeping them as pets. Tasmanian devils are protected under Australian law.
Reply:No, but wolverines tried to attack my cousins up in Alaska and I had to shoot like 50 of them with a 12 gage, whaddya think?
Reply:I haven't heard of that either...do the tasmanian devils make good pets?....are they domesticated and like living in homes like dogs or cats?
Reply:yes i have i used to live by a family of missionarys from moscow russia and they had a wolf as a pet. damali was the wolfs name. there dog/wolf was very sweet and they were very firm with the dog and didnt accpect any thing less from it than the average dog. but there were a few down sides....it ate my bunny rabbit. im serious
Reply:Why?

They are the only know animal that can fight off a grizzley bear.

They might just tear you up if they wanted to. They'd be capable to that.

They aren't like a regular pet dog.
Reply:They are definately not meant to be pets they are wild animals. A professional may have one to care for, or rescue, but they are not the best critters for pets.
Reply:the Xmen!
Reply:only retards
Reply:Wild animals belong in the wild. That jack*ss Steve Irwin started this craze of thinking of wild animals as pets. Well, he's dead. So much for that.

A wolveine will rip your *ss off. Get a nice little dog.
Reply:Wolverines look very cute and friendly, but they can kill you. They aren't that big, but trust me, don't mistake them for a pet.
Reply:the words exotic pets and wolverine do not go together
Reply:No, I haven't.

I've never heard of anyone owning a whale either, or a unicorn.
Reply:Tasmanian Devils and Woverines are 2 diffrent animals but kind of similar. Like crocadiles and alligators
Reply:LOL! i have a friend that i call wolverine. lol. nevr known anyone who has a pet wolverine
Reply:They dont really have exotic pets, but they certainly have alot. 10 dogs, 5 cats, 2 turtles, 5 birds, and some fish. Oh, did I mention that they keep their garbage too. They were evicted when police found piles of garbage 6 feet high in the foyar!
Reply:Actully i have not, but my second cousin has 2 racoon's as pets.?

And a monkey i believe.
Reply:I would not have a wolverine as a pet but apparently you can tame them, although I wouldn;t want to make one mad they will take on a grizzly bear.

Wolverines are also known as devil bears
Reply:depends on whether you value your fingers or not...for they can turn on you on a dime...I soppose one would have to raise it from a very young baby to train it,but even then, it might turn on stangers...LAWSUIT
