of course... the tiger (especially the siberian tiger) is the largest cat in the world... they can easily defeat an african lion... it was all on a show on national geographic... that's how i know! hope that helps!!!
Reply:Siberian Tigers are the largest and strongest felines. Lions cannot match, though they are named Kings. In captivity, lions have often been paired with tiger companions. Males who did not welcome each other, fought: Tigers owned the lions. You can catch videos of this on Youtube.

Reply:Pretty much. They're certainly BIGGER than a lion, maybe the biggest of all. Either they or the Bengal Tiger.
Reply:well actually Bengal Tigers that live in the Sundarbans are the baddest. they are the only known actual maneaters. Most tigers will not hunt humans but the bengals in this area do. They are actually a lot smaller than most bengals because their food is about 1/4 the size that normal bengals eat. that is why it is thought that the tigers hunt humans, but since it is such a highly forrested area and the tigers are in fact so dangerous, no one really knows why their behaviors are so irratic.
