Tiger vs Lion! Who'd win?
Tiger vs Lion! Who'd win?
Tiger, no bother. Now if you say Lion-ess, thats a different story............
Reply:Tiger, They're bigger.
Reply:Ok, I personally love Tigers and I love to say that a tiger would win.....but on the Discovery Channel their was a show which I do not remember what it was called, but they would pair two anima i.e. Orca and Great White Shark and they would collect data such as that the tiger was faster the Lion had a louder roar the lion had more strenghts in its paws and jaws, and at the end of the show they would make the animals fight(virtually) and the Lion came out on top.
Reply:Tiger will win, they live individually while lion in a groups.
Reply:I love these types of questions..........
Ok, let's look at the facts........
Both are large cats, being they are cats, they are both fast and nimble, both have the same arsenal of weapons, both are at the top of the food chain.
OK, now the things that are not similar........
Lions live in a Pride, Tigers are solitary....
Tigers are larger and stronger than Lions...
Now that we have done that, let's look at the scenario.
One on one, in an enclosed area, the Tiger will win due to it's size. However, both animals are going to be injured. The Lion is not going to give up without a fight. I would think that both would receive serious wounds and then retreat. In a fight to the death, the Tiger wins, although the Tiger would probably die too due to it's injuries incurred by the dead Lion.
Now, let's look at this in the wild.
The big thing here is that Tigers are solitary and Lions are not. Where there is one Lion there is going to be many others. In a fight like this, the Tiger would be outmatched due to numbers. The Tiger is not going to give up without a fight either, although, it's first move will be to try to escape. When cornered, a number of Lions are going to be injured, but in the end, the Lions will prevail.
Reply:Tiger most likely! Tigers are are very teritorial animals, because they are solitary. Plus they are the largest big cats on the planet!
BTW, they would NEVER meet in the wild! You probably already knew that! lol
