Which animal is more powerful: lion, tiger or bear?

If it breaks down to how they hunt i'd say the lions but if it was 1 on 1 I'd go for the bear just for its sheer size and becuase I think I saw it on discovery channel lion vs bear and bear won.

Reply:Male lion is told to achieve 250 kg's = 551 pounds,


male siberian tiger is told to achieve 300 kg's = 661 pounds and Kodiak-bears and polar bears are told to achieve


1000 kg's = 2205 pounds in weight (not all and not always but some male exemplares).


Doesn't that tell how good are the chances for them?

bears are..but they are slower then the first two but have more strength if they get their mitts on these first two...

I think it is tiger, because they have speed and also power. They hunt with such ease. Though cheetah is the fastest, he is unsuccessful in hunting for a pray because he lacks power.





Lions are also very strong. There body is also bigger than tigers. But lions generally don't hunt. They just command their wives to hunt for them, they're kinda lazy.





Tigers hunt better than lions.
