I ask since there is no optimism towards my Lions and my previous question, not to mention the fact that I feel that the Lions DO have a chance at the Super Bowl this year....:o)
Did anyone think that the Detroit Tigers would be the best team in baseball this year?
Are you kidding? Anyone who says they thought the Tigers would be the best team in baseball this year before the season started is not telling you the truth. But of course, right now the Tigers are smokin' and look like a tough out in the playoffs. The Lions may well be better in 2006. I feel the Bears are probably the best team in the NFC North but they are certainly no offensive powerhouse. Good luck to the Lions!!
Reply:I didn't but consider this. In the city of Detroit, all 4 major sports teams have got a new coach (Babcock, Leyland, Marinelli, Saunders) and as of now, 3 have/had the best record in their respective sport in the regulart season. The other team is the Lions. They could do good this year.
Reply:Heavens no! They're perennial losers. I have to agree, it would be cool to see the Lions actually do something this year. Go Twins and Chargers, however!
