I posted the pics to show the size variation..a liger is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger...the liger is a ton in weight!!! it praticall dwarfes it parents...What do u think of the liger?? do u think it looks better than the tiger and lion?? My personal view is its a nice looking animal, and i see somewhat flaws in it....there are health issues for it, lower life span... But it has social traits from the lion and the powerful hunting skills from the tiger...so its a more powerful animal!! but i think there only bred for commercial and money reasons...what do u think?

And if people purposely bred a lion with a tiger - why? Why must people interfere with everything?

Reply:Until just now I didnt even know there was such a thing as a liger!


Did that happen naturally between a lion and a tiger or did science do it?
