Shouldn't the violent animal names be dropped from sports teams?
Lions,tigers, and bears kill many people each year. Razorbacks and bruins,not to mention , longhorns ,bulls and timberwolves, are PRETTY scary. Have you ever been near an oriole's nest or a blue jay's or a jayhawk's? Probably not ! But these are vicious animals who are obviously infuriated by the mockery put forth by these comical logos%26gt; They are living beings who have feelings too! But no one thinks about THIS ! NOOOoooo!Lets worry about the Indians, and braves and fighting Illini- groups that can fend for themselves while these lower echelon groups live in shame with no representation at all.
SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! WHO ARE THE REAL BEASTS ?

I do agree w/ you about the Fighting Illini thing, they need to leave the U of I alone on that one..there isnt even an Illinwek Tribe....But anyways ur talking about animals here...
